It’s been almost five years since Lianne La Havas last graced us with an album – 2015’s excellent ‘Blood’ – and whilst she’s appeared as a featured artist on a drip-feed of collaborations since (including ‘When Your Light Goes Out’ from Mr Jukes’ often-overlooked ‘God First’ LP), it’s safe to say we’ve been pining for solo material for a fair while.
Fear not though, Lianne is back with her new single ‘Bittersweet’.
Premiered as Annie Mac’s latest Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, ‘Bittersweet’ marks the first preview of the Londoner’s forthcoming studio album, set to drop later this summer.
