No strangers to the festival itself, NYC’s Fun Lovin’ Criminals are set to return to Glastonbury later this summer, as confirmed by frontman Huey Morgan.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music’s Liz Kershaw during the handover from his own show to the latter, Morgan teased the band will be releasing a new record this year, whilst confirming “we’re playing at Glastonbury this year so that should be fun… yeah we’re headlining a stage [I] we can’t get into it now…”
The band’s appearance will make them one of the few acts confirmed so far for Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary, which kicks off in June – prior to Christmas, Taylor Swift was revealed as the second headliner, joining Saturday night’s Sir Paul McCartney on the bill.
Grab a listen to the full interview around the 2:56:50-mark, here; with less than 6 months to go, you can expect more Glastonbury names to start appearing over the coming months.
