After what seemed like an accidental leak to their fanbase during last week’s European tour announcement, BBC Radio 2 seem to have sealed the confirmation that Aerosmith will indeed be performing at 2020’s Glastonbury Festival.
Teased by The Rock Show host Johnnie Walker earlier this evening (14th December), the presenter said “forgot to tell you, [Aerosmith will] be playing at Glastonbury next June – the big 50th-anniversary show. That’ll be quite something else”.
The Glastonbury show will be one of just three UK dates as part of the band’s own 50th celebrations; they will also be performing at London’s O2 Arena (15th July) and the Manchester Arena (18th July).
