Glastonbury’s Emily Eavis has confirmed the remaining 2020 headliners will be soloists, with both artists making their debut on Worthy Farm.

Speaking to Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2 earlier today (25th November), Eavis hinted “[It’s] their first time at Glastonbury, and we’ve got one male and one female”. The tease aligns with both Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift, both of whom have become bookies’ favourites over the past couple of months.

The news comes one week since Paul McCartney was revealed as the Saturday night headliner for Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary, marking the musician’s first return to the Pyramid Stage since 2004.

In the same interview, Emily also hinted that the identity of one of the new headliners could be revealed “this side of Christmas”, adding “most of it will be [announced at] the beginning of 2020. Everyone needs their moment”.

Glastonbury Festival runs from 24-28th June 2020.
