Glass Animals have announced their return to the road, just over a year on from drummer Joe Seaward’s horrific road accident.

Last September, the four-piece cancelled their run of European shows after Seaward was struck by a truck whilst riding a bike in Ireland; the drummer sustained serious injuries including a fractured skull and broken leg.

Now almost three years on from their acclaimed second album ‘How To Be A Human Being’, Glass Animals will return to touring in 2020, falling part of the just-announced bill for Florida’s Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival.

Set to take place across the 5-8th March weekend, the festival’s 2020 line-up will see RÜFÜS DU SOL, Vampire Weekend and Mumford & Sons lead the pack, with additional acts including the likes of HAIM, CASPA, Suerptask, Bloody Orange, Clairo and more.

One can only hope that Glass Animals’ return will also see a preview of new music (and hopefully a place on the Glastonbury 2020 bill).

It’s good to have you back, lads! (Particularly Joe!).
