As the gates close to Worthy Farm for another successful year, Glastonbury Festival organisers have officially announced the dates for the event’s next instalment in 2020.
Set to mark 50 years since the festival’s initial kick-off in 1970 (back then under the guise of the ‘Pilton Pop, Blues & Folk Festival’), Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary has now been confirmed to run from 24-28th June. As you’d expect, headliners are tight-lipped at this point, though recent hints from Paul McCartney and Fleetwood Mac have left the rumour mill already kicking off.
As per previous years, coach and ticket combo packages will go onsale earlier than general admission, taking place at 6pm Thursday October 3rd. Ticket-only sales will kick off on Sunday 6th October.
Tickets will cost £265 per person + £5 booking fee, of which a £50 deposit (plus coach fare if booking a coach package) is payable when booking in October, with the balance payable in the first week of April 2020. Tickets will be sold exclusively at glastonbury.seetickets.com.
