With her anticipated debut album ‘High Expectations’ just around the corner (it lands in August), Londoner Mabel has hooked up with a world-leaning trio of production outfits for the remix package of her recent single, ‘Mad Love’.
Featuring interpretations from Leftwing & Kody, Syn Cole and Blinkie, all three put a varied spin on the original – Leftwing & Kody’s edit brings a 90’s electronic style into the fray with a nostalgic feel, whilst both Syn Cole’s and Blinkie’s reworks build on the original piano chords, though with more driven and harder drops.
