Glastonbury Festival organisers have announced the finalists for 2019’s Emerging Talent Competition.
The final 8, which features Che Lingo, iiola, LIINES, Marie White, Roma Palace, Shunaji, Swimming Girls and YAMAYA, were whittled down from thousands of entries, and were selected alongside a further 82 acts in the original longlist earlier in the year. The EDC finalists will be in the running to be awarded a £5,000 Talent Development prize from PRS Foundation. Two runners-up will also each be awarded a £2,500 PRS Foundation Talent Development prize.
Previous winners have included Josh Barry and Izzy Bizu, both who have previously played at the festival following their nomination.
