US country/rock group The Mavericks have self-confirmed their attendance to 2019’s Glastonbury Festival.
Nestled among the tour listings on the band’s official website, The Mavericks will return to Worthy Farm following their 2017 appearance at the Avalon mainstage. This year they will hit Somerset on Friday 28th June, though which stage still remains under wraps.
The Mavericks are the first act to be announced since Friday’s unveiling of Glastonbury’s first-wave 2019 lineup, which saw the likes of Lauryn Hill, Janet Jackson, Jungle, The Cure and The Killers among the names revealed.
Glastonbury 2019 runs from 26-30th June.
