Regular fans of the UK house scene should be well-acquainted with Prospa’s debut single, ‘Prayer‘. A mainstay-staple in Annie Mac’s weekly Radio 1 Dance show, the track quickly spiralled up the Shazam charts within its first week, and now the Leeds-based duo have released the track, alongside its follow-up ‘Information’, on iconic UK houseStress Records.
Now reinvigorated following a thirteen-year hiatus, Stress are pushing Prospa’s latest anthems hard, and it’s no wonder why. Both songs add elements of nostalgia to their sonics – ‘Prayer’ with clever synths that build into an acid 90s rave-inspired ramp, whilst ‘Information’ goes down more an electro-funk vibe courtesy of a relentless thumping bass line. This is simply great house music.
