The Who have announced their return to the UK live scene with a one-off show at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Set to hit the iconic venue on Saturday 6th July, the ‘Moving On’ tour will see support from Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder alongside Kaiser Chiefs, with more names set to be announced in the lead-up.
“It is what both of us want to do – move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose” says the band’s Pete Townshend. “Be aware Who fans! Just because it’s The Who with an orchestra, in no way will it compromise the way Pete and I deliver our music” adds Roger Daltry – “This will be full throttle Who with horns and bells on.”
