Sonar Festival announce first-wave 2019 line-up

Organisers of Barcelona’s annual Sonar Festival have announced their first-wave of live acts for 2019.

Led by Skepta and A$AP Rocky (the latter who will bring his new show to the main stage of Sonar By Night), 2019’s event will also see a return to the festival circuit from Disclosure, who will debut some of their long-awaited new material.

As well as the new audiovisual shows by Actress, Deena Abdelwahed and Lotic, and frontier pushing concerts by Nicola Cruz and K Á R Y Y N, top-level DJ sets by Dixon, Floating Points (6h set), Maya Jane Coles, Amelie Lens, Artwork, Blawan & Dax J, and Ross From Friends, Andy C, FKJ, Bad Gyal and Octavian have also been announced.

The 26th edition of Sónar in Barcelona will be an extraordinary celebration, presenting a total of 130 shows on 18, 19 and 20 July 2019 at the venues of Sónar by Day (Fira Montjuïc de Barcelona) and Sónar by Night (Gran Via de L’Hospitalet). The festival will return in 2020 to its usual dates in the month of June.
