Hear The 1975’s long-awaited new album ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’

It feels like it’s been a long-time-coming, but The 1975’s third studio album ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’ has finally arrived.

Set as the first of two parts of their previously-mooted ‘Music For Cars’ era (the band’s follow-up, ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ will arrive next summer), ‘A Brief Inquiry’ seems, on first listen, as the group’s most outrageous, yet honest, record to-date.

Opening with their self-titled song – a running theme in their past studio outings – their third album comprises fifteen songs, coupled alongside previous singles ‘Sincerity Is Scary’, ‘TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME’ and ‘Love It If We Made It’.

Whilst its predecessor ‘I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’ bounded in red-raw emotive themes of love, ‘A Brief Inquiry’ sets the tone for a more worldly view, alongside being more politically-charged too.
