Lil Wayne has announced the release date of his long-awaited new album, ‘Tha Carter V’.
Confirmed to drop this coming Friday, 28th September, the record’s release-date was revealed after Wayne tweeted “announcement at 5pm”; when the clock struck, he then shared a link to a short video which closed with confirmation of the project.
‘Tha Carter V’ is the rapper’s twelfth studio album; originally announced back in 2012, the project has seen multiple delays following legal issues and a public feud with Cash Money’s Birdman.
