Back in December, Damon Albarn revealed that a follow-up to last year’s ‘Humanz’ would land at some point this year; now just over twelve months since the aforementioned album arrived, it seems that the band are keeping their promises.

Across the weekend, posters at London’s All Points East festival, teased a cryptic URL thenownow.tv.

Visiting the site delivered a short teaser video of what’s likely to be one of the tracks from the album, with a ‘June 29′ release date toward the end. The clip seems a slight departure from some of Gorillaz’ earlier work, this time focusing more on a funky-disco synth-led beat. Albarn and co previously teased a new Snoop Dogg offering, ‘Hollywood‘ a their live shows earlier in the year.
