Earlier this year, Khalid joined forces with former Fifth Harmony-member Normani for the soulful ‘Love Lies’. Delivering a striking balance from both singers, the song helped launch Normani as a credible solo artist in her own right, and with her own album set to land by the close of 2018, her future seems exceedingly bright.
Fast-forward a few months however, and it’s now Snakehips’ turn to give ‘Love Lies’ a further boost thanks to their wonderful new remix. Marking their own signature stamp across the cut, the British duo go back to their earlier sonics by throwing light ‘gloopy’ distortions over both singers’ voices, alongside a magnetic backing-beat.
