A fortnight back, The Internet announced their surprise return with ‘Roll (Burbank Funk)’.
Landing as the first track from the group since 2015’s ‘Ego Death’, the song follows a string of solo projects from various members, including Syd and Steve Lacy. Now with a new album on the way, the group have added further excitement by confirming that Kaytranada has remixed the song, with an imminent release likely. The news was shared on the band’s official Twitter earlier today.
No clue as to when the new edit will land, however with The Internet pointing out a timely “VERY soon”, we should hopefully be hearing something the latest by the end of the week. In the meantime, catch the original below:
