Coachella organisers have announced plans to broadcast some of this year’s performances in VR.
Alongside the return of the YouTube live stream, which will feature sets from the likes of Beyonce, The Weeknd, HAIM and more, the festival will also add a fourth channel to their broadcast which will cover the Main Stage, Sahara Tent, and festival grounds in an immersive VR180 stream.
The experience will also be open to all those with a smartphone and VR viewer capabilities (eg Google Cardboard), and not solely a VR headset.
Stagedoor FM will be bringing you the full live-stream of a vast majority of this year’s Coachella performances when gates open this weekend, Friday 13th April.
