There was a lot to take in at last night’s Grammy Awards. Now in its 60th year, the 2018 ceremony was as diverse as you’d expect – surprise winners in the night included a huge sweep for Bruno Mars’ ’24K Magic’, whilst Jay-Z’s heralded ‘4:44’ walked away empty-handed. From a performance side, though, it was Kendrick Lamar who won the night. Opening the show with a medley of ‘DAMN.’ songs, including an appearance from Bono on ‘XXX.’, the whole set was as energetic as they come. For years Kendrick’s live shows have always been thrilling; last night’s set did not disappoint.
