Justin Timberlake has announced his eagerly-awaited new album.
Titled Man Of The Woods, the project will land on 2nd February with the first single expected to be revealed this Friday, 5th January. **UPDATE: Timberlake has confirmed that the new single will be titled Filthy, landing at midnight ET**. Story continuing below:
The album, which comes more than four years since the release of Timberlake’s double-packed The 20/20 Experience, takes influence from the artist’s family life – “This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from,” he says in the new trailer, adding “And it’s personal.”
The trailer also shows a returned appearance from Pharrell, who famously worked with Justin on his groundbreaking debut, Justified; meanwhile the album’s timely release coincides with his forthcoming Super Bowl halftime show on 4th February. It’s yet to be confirmed whether songs from the project will appear in the performance, but with new music landing imminently, we wouldn’t bet against it.
