Listen: Myles Cameron – ‘dontwantme’ (feat. Maya)

There’s one name who may have just missed the boat when it comes to all the ‘2018 Ones To Watch’ shortlists currently doing the circuit. Myles Cameron (an artist we admittedly, know little about), has slowly been placing joints on his Soundcloud for a while now, and it’s his latest one, dontwantme which definitely hits the nail on its head.

Featuring supported vocals from Maya, Cameron’s new one oozes all the right elements which absolutely pigeon-holes him among the likes of Frank Ocean, Gallant and James Blake. There’s a nice nod to Kanye’s Ultralight Beam subtly thrown in there too, and whilst dontwantme won’t make you run to the dancefloor, it will throw you into one of the most soothing moods we’ve heard in a while.
