BANKS has released her new track Underdog, following up the spring release of Crowded Places.
Premiered as Zane Lowe’s latest ‘World Record’ on Apple’s Beats 1, Underdog hears BANKS reconnect with Fuck With Myself-producer Al Shux (also responsible for 2014’s Drowning), and was written during a time where the singer was in a self-affirmed ‘ferocious mood’. “There’s a beast inside of me that I haven’t let out fully. And I still haven’t” she told Lowe, adding “but I’m allowing it to poke its head above the water a little bit more. And I feel like that feels free, and that’s why I feel so free right now.”
