Video: Ibeyi – ‘Me Voy’ (ft Mala Rodriguez)

Ibeyi have debuted the video for Me Voy, connecting with Mala Rodriguez on the second cut from their upcoming album Ash.

“English, Spanish and Yoruba inspire us to write different kinds of music and lyrics” says Ibeyi’s Naomi of the song (itself which takes a completely different turn to the track’s predecessor Deathless), with Lisa-Kaindé adding “We needed to sing in Spanish to set a sensual tone for this song. When women feel sensual, not only is it sexy, but also powerful”

Watch the full video below; Ibeyi will also play London’s Shoreditch Town Hall on 19th October as part of their forthcoming world tour which kicks off at the end of the month.
