Take That, Blondie and Stereophonics were among the big names appearing in London’s Hyde Park over the weekend, as BBC’s Radio 2 delivered an exciting close to the summer festival season.
Cited as the station’s ‘Festival in a Day’, the sold-out crowd were also graced by the likes of Rick Astley, James Blunt and Shania Twain, however it was arguably Emeli Sande who stole the show with probably one of her biggest performances to-date of Hurts, the lead single from last year’s Long Live The Angels.
