Mysterious producer whereisalex (all lowercase, btw) has been bubbling under the scene for a while now. Initially releasing tracks via Film Noir, the producer joins the likes of Brasstracks as a heralder of jazz-inspired futurebrass, and today he brings his sound further into the masses, working his magic across Flume and Tove Lo’s 2016 smash Say It. The track’s completely flipped from the original, this time erring toward a brass/trap focus.
