Mura Masa will release his debut album later this month, and in preparation, the producer keeps the moment going with even more collaborations.
We’ve already heard his Christine and the Queens feature on Second 2 None, and today the young producer (aka Alex Crossan) connects with Damon Albarn for the first time on Blu.
It’s probably more downbeat than anything we’ve heard from both artists over the course of the year, but the second half really throws things into gear – Albarn’s vocals gets the ‘warped Mura Masa treatment’, with some twinkling (alt-Snakehips-esque) sonics also appearing as the build continues.
