Gorillaz have announced an expansion of their recently-revealed US tour as they bring their Humanz show to the UK and wider-Europe toward the end of this year.
Set to follow on from their secret London show back in March, and act as a continuation of their Dreamland festival in Margate this summer, the tour will see Damon Albarn and co hit Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham, before concluding in December for two performances at London’s O2 Arena.
The Humanz Tour (titled after their first new album in seven years, released last week) will see Murdoc, Noodle, Russel Hobbs and 2D joined on stage by the Gorillaz live band – Damon Albarn, Gabriel Wallace, Mike Smith, Jesse Hackett, Jeff Wootton, Karl Vanden Bossche, Seye Adelekan – as well as selected performers from the stellar roll call of Gorillaz’ family of featured artists.
