Liverpudlian indie group Circa Waves have revealed their place on Glastonbury’s Other Stage for later this June.
Originally confirmed on the initial Glasto line-up reveal back in March, the four-piece band have shared the added news during a recent interview with Somerset Live.
Having last appeared on Worthy Farm’s John Peel tent in 2015, lead singer Kieran Shundall said: “I’m really excited to be playing again this year. We are playing the Other Stage in the afternoon….It gives us a chance to prove to people that we are the band for the future of festivals and that we are the ones to take the mantle from Kings of Leon and The Killers.”
Circa Waves join Boy Better Know as the only-confirmed acts so far for the Other Stage – Glastonbury’s full line-up and stage-splits are expected to be announced late-May/early-June.
