As he closed off his recent The Heart Part 4, Kendrick Lamar all but confirmed the release of his new album – “Y’all got ’til April the 7th to get y’all shit together” he said, however 7th April is here and there’s no record in sight.
However, a quick scour on iTunes has teased some more information. The new project is currently untitled yet has a pre-order release date of 14th April. Additionally the listing confirms a 14-track LP, whilst further glimpses on Reddit show a track co-written by James Blake alongside a song featuring U2.
UPDATE: Anthony Tiffith, founder of Lamar’s Top Dawg Entertainment, has confirmed the release date.
