The xx have released a final film centred around last month’s 8-show Night + Day festival.
Produced by London-based team CHILD, the 21-minute feature features guest interviews and exclusive footage from the trio, alongside the likes of Gilles Peterson, Robyn, Benji B, Florence Welch and more, all of whom instrumental in creating the Brixton Academy residency.
Of the release, The xx also tease the return of Night + Day, saying that the festival “has always been a special project to us, as it’s a way for us to connect with and celebrate all of the amazing cultural activity happening in the places that we love. Brixton last month was a truly unforgettable experience for all of us, so we’re very pleased to be able to present this film to you all. Thank you again to everyone involved in Night + Day, we are beyond excited to bring Night + Day back again in the near future, hopefully we’ll see you there! xx The xx”
