Gorillaz have announced their first UK show in seven years, alongside their own festival at Margate’s Dreamland.
The one-day event which will be headlined by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s crew, will land in Kent for one day on 10th June, and will span three stages – Albarn and Hewlett will curate the line-up which is yet to be revealed.
An all-new Gorillaz album is also in the mix, with Damon recently telling a fan that the project was complete and they were currently rehearsing for the live circuit – whilst it’s yet to be confirmed whether Dreamland will be their first live show of the year, it’s pretty likely it will be the biggest and most extravagant.
