Ed Sheeran has announced a string of UK and Ireland dates as part of his Europe-wide 2017 tour.
Kicking off in Dublin on 12th April, Ed will then travel to the UK, landing in Glasgow four days later, before gracing Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham and Birmingham. Sheeran will then close the UK leg on 1st and 2nd May with a double show at London’s O2.
**UPDATE: A third date at the O2 Arena has also been added due to overwhelming demand**
In order to combat any unfair and overpriced re-selling, Ed has also confirmed Twickets as the approved vendor for onward sales. In an email to his fanbase, he says “Also for this tour I’ve teamed up with a company called Twickets – which is a safe, sensible and fair place for people to sell or buy any spare tickets they have for the shows. Via Twickets, everything is at face value (or less), so you’re protected against fraud and hideous overpricing”.
Ed is currently sitting proudly at the top of the UK Official Charts with comeback-track Shape Of You; joint single Castle On The Hill is also at No.2, with both tracks lifted off his upcoming third studio album Divide, out in March.
