When you receive a press release citing a new artist from the “same camp that brought us Gallant and ZHU”, you know you have to sit up and take notice…. and thank god we did!
LA-based Noah McBeth (aka NoMBe) sets a wonderful prelude to his upcoming debut album They Might’ve Even Loved Me with his new jam Wait, a track to totally vibe out to, by way of some brooding guitar alongside the youngster’s dazzling vocals.
“I wouldn’t know a better way to describe the relationships I’ve built with women throughout my life” NoMBe says on his new album, adding “Safe to say, love can make you crazy, like a jukebox that gets stuck on that one note you didn’t want to hear again, but is now being drilled right into your head.”
Grab a listen in full below; oh yeah, and Chaka Khan is NoMBe’s godmother, so you know you’re in massively-safe hands!
