US duo Electric Guest have shared their new track Back For Me, the second cut from their upcoming studio record Plural (which is set to feature the likes of The Vaccines’ Justin Young, alongside HAIM and Joanna Newsom).
Set ahead of a sultry electro-funk backdrop, Back For Me echoes early MGMT – from the Bee Gees-esque vocals to a smooth, head-nodding bassline, the song will also appearently set the tone for Plural which promises “strong, natural vocals, intuitive musical instinct, and unbridled inspiration”.
Take a listen below; Electric Guest will also embark on a 2017 European tour, with dates set to be announced shortly.
