Ahead of next month’s release of his anticipated new album Starboy, The Weeknd has announced a host of pop-up stores, set to open in 10 days time.
Whilst locations are still TBC (we’re unaware as to whether this will be a US-only event), it’s confirmed that the pop-ups will run from 4-6th November. Additionally, whilst details are still sketchy, we wouldn’t be surprised if the stores allowed fans early-access to limited-edition prints of the record.
Back in August, Frank Ocean held similar events across the globe, converting newsagents and stores into a short-term place to purchase his latest album Blond, alongside accompanying magazine Boys Don’t Cry.
UPDATE: The Weeknd has confirmed the first set of details for the 4-6th November events. There will pop-ups at Opening Ceremony in New York and Los Angeles, with additional stores at London’s Selfridges and Miami’s Alchemist. More venues TBA
Stay locked and we’ll deliver more info as and when we hear it; in the meantime you can subscribe for more updates here.
