Emeli Sande made her return to BBC2’s Later…With Jools Holland earlier this evening as she gears up for the release of her anticipated sophomore album Long Live The Angels.
Appearing some five years on from her debut outing on the show, Sande opened the episode with the album’s lead single Hurts, a track we’d highly place as one of our favourite songs of the year. Book-ending the show, Emeli then delivered the world’s first televised premiere of Highs and Lows, another song lifted off the new record.
