The Weeknd has shared the official video for False Alarm, and it’s as intense as they come.
Unveiled as the second single from the Canadian’s forthcoming Starboy LP (out next month), the visual delivers on the substance of a thriller mini-movie, with Abel the key villain as he carries out a pretty hefty bank robbery.
Starboy itself has already seen some meticulous hype – both the title-track and False Alarm were unveiled within days of each other, whilst The Weeknd has already performed both songs in their entirety during his stint on SNL a couple of weeks back. Whilst the latest joint may not be to everyone’s taste, it still gives us a full teaser of what’s to come when the full album lands in a little over six weeks.
