A mysterious new website has prompted speculation that Daft Punk will be returning to the road in 2017.

Alive 2017, which was registered just under a fortnight back, has appeared online and follows various fan theories that the French duo will continue their decade-long touring stints (the Robots have two live LPs based on previous tours – Alive 1997 and Alive 2007).

In an almost-annual tradition, speculation also continues that Daft Punk will also be headlining Glastonbury next year, 20 years since their initial 1997 Worthy Farm debut.

Additionally, zooming in on the website (which seemingly just displays ‘ALIVE’) shows a countdown clock to 27th October, potentially teasing a full tour announcement.

In related Daft Punk news, the duo recently collaborated with The Weeknd to produce the title-track (and lead single) from his forthcoming Starboy LP; grab a listen here.
