Organisers of Barclaycard’s British Summer Time have confirmed their first 2017 headliner, with Green Day returning to the UK for the first time in three years.
Announced moments ago, the group’s appearance at BST will mark five years since the annual event kicked off at London’s Hyde Park – since then, BST has become a somewhat staple in the UK festival calendar, with 2016’s event seeing the likes of Take That, Florence and The Machine and Stevie Wonder hit the stage.
