Admittedly we were latecomers when we first descended toward Alex Metric; ultimately one of the most in-demand producers of the last decade, it was Metric’s Charli XCX-collab End of the World which fully brought us into his sphere, and over the years since, you’d be hard-pressed to find any way of a dud within his illustrious discography.
Today however, things go even further into Alex’s ‘realm of brilliance’ as he flips Dua Lipa’s Blow Your Mind (Mwah) into 90s house-territories. There’s strong elements of piano-house in there, underpinned by some old-school UKG drops too (think more Mark Ryder than your more commercial Sweet Female Attitude kinda stuff).
Bump this one loud below; this one’s definitely for the playlisters out there too!
