Parisian Goldilox has shared her gorgeous new Skin EP, a solid six-tracker which epitomises Jhene Aiko-esque down-tempo/lo-fi R&B to the max. From opener 100% (which intros you to her gritty world) to the assertive Morning, Goldilox has delivered an entirely slick project, even more impressive when you consider it to be her debut too.
Whilst initial listens might silo away the club ravers, Skin absolutely has all the charm of a post-3am record. It’s entirely engrossing and likely to remain a staple in your collection for some time yet.
Stream the EP its entirety below, either on Spotify or Apple Music. If you want to add it to your collection on a more permanent basis, you can also download it direct from iTunes too.
