Dusky have dropped their superb video for Long Wait, their recent collaboration with Solomon Grey, and the final single to be shared before their new album Outer lands next month.
Shot entirely underwater in one take, producer Noel Paul (responsible for Lapsley’s Falling Short video) describes the challenge of creating such a visual – “Directing a one-take video underwater was great fun. We synchronized the action sonically, by banging a rock against the side of the pool underwater. Meanwhile our actor Marcos was able to hold his breath for the entire three minutes over and over again while his body cooled down to a scarily low temperature. There’s no trickery, he really held his breath!”
Catch it in full below; meanwhile Dusky fans in London will be able to catch the duo live at Annie Mac’s AMP All-Day Rave on 1st October at the captial’s Tobacco Dock. Outer lands two weeks later.
