Following various rumours over the past week, MTV have confirmed that Beyonce will indeed perform at this evening’s VMAs.
Announcing the news moments ago, Beyonce’s appearance will see her join an already impressive line-up, which includes performances from Nicki Minaj, Future, Ariana Grande and Rihanna – the latter who becomes the latest recipient of the MTV Video Vanguard Award. Kanye West is also confirmed to have a slot to talk, though will not be performing onstage.
The 2016 VMAs will be broadcast live from Madison Square Gardens in NYC at 9pm Eastern Time (expect a UK showing not long after).
