Ahead of this weekend’s Notting Hill Carnival, MJ Cole has shared his new joint The Rumble, hooking up with AJ Tracey for some serious bars across an alt-sinister backdrop.
The track comes courtesy of the legendary UKG producer’s new 892 Recordings imprint, with Cole speaking of his love for the London scene as he describes the collaboration – “My feet sensed the rumblings from the Underground and I knew AJ Tracey was coming through. We hooked up in the studio at the start of 2016 and he laid down the idea on Scarface Riddim which I made with him in mind. The Rumble is a slice of London, the energy of now, a fusion of all that is exciting in the UK for us. We’re proud of this record and are excited to release is on the brand new 892 Recordings.”
