If you’re pissed that Ibiza was just a little bit out of your budget this year, then this one may be of interest. Whilst it’s not the White Isle we all know and love, Corona have announced this year’s SunSets Festival, which will see them morph London’s Greenwich Peninsula into a beach haven, bordering on Cafe Mambo/Del Mar-stylee.
Described as the ‘biggest beach festival to hit London’, SunSets promises “an incredible selection of music from chilled acoustic beach tunes to upbeat, melodic and deep house” – basically media-talk for some absolutely-wicked DJs (Robin Schulz, Norman Jay, Nightmares On Wax and Sam Feldt are just some of the names confirmed).
Oh and there’s food…. plus sunset-y kinda stuff too (Corona really are trying to make this a homegrown-Ibiza, aren’t they? Kudos!).
Early-bird tickets came and went unsurprisingly, but there’s still a few remaining over on the official SunSets website. Now we just need to keep our fingers-crossed the UK’s current heatwave sticks with us a bit longer (SunSets is on 30th July btw, and being all alcoholy, it’s an 18+ shindig too).
