Back in 2014, rising French producer Boogie Vice dropped his succulent Bel Air EP, throwing out samples galore into a project that, on paper, probably shouldn’t have worked, but in reality made one heck of a house gem.

Today, Boogie has announced his new collection The Beats of Science Vol.7, and it’s the project’s opening cut Groove On that we’re premiering for you right here.

Released on Miguel Campbell’s Outcross Records imprint, The Beats of Science Vol.7 oozes summer house from the glory/early-days of the genre. Comprising a trio of beats (which includes the Giorgio Moroder-esque La French), the Smooth Mix of Groove On, which can also be heard underneath the original, brings Boogie’s sound up to 2016-standards, delivering sonics that echo early Disclosure beats.
