Set to drop early next month, Weekend precedes by way of a remix package, and it’s NVOY’s quality edit that we’re bringing you today. Sidelining away from their more-signature mechanical beats, the Black Butter-signed lads instead twist toward more Flume/Peking Duk-esque futuretronica – sliding synths and some smart, subtle vocal distortions make NVOY’s interpretation a perfect late-night soundtrack.
