Glastonbury organisers have officially announced their new area for 2016, The Wood.
Previously an area of the farm never previously opened to the public, The Wood was created by the teams behind The Glade and Avalon, and will be situated next to the new John Peel stage (adjacent to the existing Hospitality Area).
Described as “a far cry from the South East Corner”, The Wood will see views of Glastonbury Tor, alongside a tree-set cafe and a bar – essentially an idyllic hideaway haven. The new area was announced over on The Glade’s official Facebook page moments ago.
