It’s safe to say that with over 15 years experience, Miguel Campbell knows how to craft a finely-tuned house beat; not only that, but the Leeds-based producer is also a dab hand on the remix front (his edit of Patrick Alavi’s How Much That Means To Me is still one of our favourite house tracks…. ever), so with that in mind, we’re excited to premiere Campbell’s latest gem as he hops over the remix of Takin’ Off, the debut track from French newcomers Palmer.
Overlaid with a nu-disco groove (a feature almost-synonymous within Campbell’s illustrious discography), Takin’ Off is as sun-drenched as anyone who’s off to Ibiza could ask for…… actually, perhaps scrap that… this edit is as perfect for the White Isle as it is blasting out your car as you’re jacking the speed up on the M25.
