Barney Artist has teamed up with Tom Misch for Stay Close, the second track from his forthcoming Painting Sounds mixtape.
Of the track, the Forest Gate vocalist said “It’s always great making music with your mates because it’s never really forced and when me and Tom made “Stay Close” it was proper easy! Alfa Mist played some smooth keys and Tom took it from there really. The song is basically about being scared to take that huge step and start a relationship because you don’t want it to go wrong…I think most of us can relate to that! But the good thing is it’s pure summer vibes!”
